Restoring Dignity, One Step at a Time: Mpaboa 365 5th Edition Wrap-Up
Every child deserves to walk into school with pride, comfort, and confidence. Yet for many pupils in underserved rural communities, missing or damaged shoes remains a quiet barrier to daily education.
Through the 5th Edition of our Mpaboa 365 project, REST Philanthropy returned to the field to change that narrative delivering brand-new footwear directly to those who need it most.
290 Smiles, Two Communities
Led by Project Director Joshua Blay, this year’s mission took our team and volunteers to Dormase Primary School and Bahankra Primary School.
Thanks to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers, members, and generous donors, we successfully distributed 290 pairs of quality shoes to pupils across both schools. Beyond physical protection from harsh terrain, these simple gifts restored dignity, boosted daily attendance, and brought immense joy to young learners.

Total Mobilized Funds: GHS 14,065 (including GHS 255 from Better Dream Foundation)
Total Project Expenditure: GHS 14,194
Direct Shoe Procurement Cost: GHS 11,610
Our primary goal was fully realized without compromising the quality of care provided to the pupils.
Looking Ahead
Every edition teaches us how to serve better. As we prepare for future outreaches, we are expanding our logistical planning and initiating donor outreach earlier to reach even more communities in need.
